Each camp theme is five days long with the exception of the camps for week 1 (July 3- 6) and week 6 (Aug. 7-10) which are four days long due to statutory holidays. 2. How long is each day? The actual camp program begins at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm, although for a cost of $10 we offer extended hours (8-8:50AM and 4:10-5PM) to accommodate your needs. 3. How many children will attend the camp? Each camp will have a total of 16 boys and girls, and two camp leaders will be present at all times (ratio- 1:8) 4. Which camp is appropriate for my girl/boy? All 4 camp themes are equally appropriate for both boys and girls. 5. Is there a camp better for younger/older children? All 3 camps are as exciting for the younger child as they are for the older child. Children are grouped by age so the counsellors can gear the projects and activities to the age appropriate level. 6. Do you provide transportation? Transportation to and from camp is a parental responsibility, however the camp provides transportation for weekly field trips. 7. Do you provide snacks and meals? Children must bring a lunch and several snacks with them, but at times snacks and treats will be offered. 8. Do children ever leave the camp site? Do they go on field trips? The camps are based on campus (Room 112 - Marshall D’Avray Hall) for the entire week, but occasional outings and field trips will take place. 9. How do I register my child for the camp? Come to registration night on April 11th or contact Paula Kristmanson at pkristma@unb.ca or Josie Seely at josies@unb.ca (note: registration is first-come, first-serve) |Home Page| |About Us| |Membership| |FAQ's| |News Items| |Articles| |Events| |Services| |Links| |Contact Us|Chapters| |
