Dont miss the 2002-2003 House of Commons Page Programme House of Commons pages are selected from high schools and CEGEPs across Canada every year. They serve the House of Commons while beginning their studies at a university in the National Capital Region and collect friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Pages play a key role in the communication network on Parliament Hill. Delivering important messages and research papers to Members, linking Members to their Hill offices and serving House officials in various capacities, House of Commons Pages are always on the go. Pages will be contracted to work at the House of Commons for one year beginning in late August 2002. They will work a minimum of 15 hours a week and their work schedule will be coordinated with their university schedule. A salary of $8,329 will be paid in 26 equal payments to Pages throughout their working year. In addition, a sum of $1,200 will be paid at the end of the employment period in August 2003.
