INNOVATIONS FUND for 2006/2007

Chapter Presidents!

Here's what's coming!

You may recall several months ago, that the Board of Directors intended to launch an initiative whereby CPF NB would provide Chapters with the financial assistance necessary to deliver 'innovative' projects that provide learning opportunities for students currently studying French in your communities.  The plan was delayed temporarily - but good news:  it will be available after April 1st of 2006.

We are pleased to announce that CPF NB will be offering the possibility of financial assistance under a new INNOVATIONS FUND for 2006/2007.  We have budgeted $5000 for this project, and it is our intention to provide funding to Chapters with emphasis on programs, projects, or activities that are creative and innovative, encourage students to learn French and stay in French, and/or that promote bilingualism in NB.

Submissions will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis.  To ensure the greatest distribution of funds possible, only one project per Chapter will be approved funding - at least initially. Chapters will be eligible to apply for funding to a maximum of $1000 per project.   If interested in applying, an application can be sent to you electronically.  We encourage you to include a proposal or any other supporting documentation necessary that would assist us to better assess your application.

Have you had a great idea in the back of your mind, but haven't had the resources to carry your project along?  Well - this may be the golden opportunity to get that great idea off the ground and running.

Submissions may be mailed or faxed to the CPF Branch Office in Sussex:
