Saint John, N.B. – The Festival de la Baie Française 2007 has a special place in the heart of members of the Saint John French community and especially this year, because it celebrates its 10th edition. This annual event, that will take place from June 7th to June 10th, should attract again many festive people, who will take an active part of the diverse activities all over the city.

2007 National Concours d’art oratoire Grades 11 and 12 will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario.

Don’t miss this annual celebration of words! Meet and listen to authors, take a comic-book writing workshop, help to read one book 100 times, draw a panel for Moncton’s longest comic strip, go “fishing” for words, watch a performance of Seussical the Musical by Coro Atlantica and much more boisterous bookishness! The Frye Festival April 25 - 29 Avril 2007.

2006 FSL Report Card is an annual assessment of how well French-second-language (FSL) programs are faring across Canada.

CPF and the Embassy of France are launching their fifth annual national contest.The grand prize is a 10-day trip to France next summer. The prize package includes: travel, accommodation, activities and insurance. There will also be second and third prizes awarded. The deadline has been extended to February 16th.

The Begbie Canadian History contest is sponsored by the Begbie Contest Society.Students are provided with a rich variety of primary and secondary sources dealing with national issues and with questions which require them to use the critical thinking skills historians employ in analyzing such sources.
