Coady Institute's International Internship Program
Go Global with the Coady Institute's International Youth Internship Program

The Coady International Institute is now recruiting dynamic community-minded Canadians between 19 and 30 years of age to participate in its international internship program. Pending funding, the program will begin in July 2003 and include a six-month work placement in Africa, Asia, or South America. Qualified candidates must currently be: unemployed or underemployed; recent graduates of university or community college of various fields; and first-time participants in the Youth Employment Strategy (YES). Proficiency in French and a history of community involvement are considered assets.

The program will include a 5-week orientation, a 6-month placement, and a 3-week debriefing. Costs are covered by the Youth Internship Program, which is supported by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
