The provincial finals will be held at Université de Moncton Campus, at Pavillon Jeanne-de-Valois in May 1, 2010. Registration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Opening Ceremonies will be at 12:30 p.m. and the speech competition for all speech categories, grades 6 to 12, will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Closing and Awards Ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m. It will be the responsibility of the school districts and/or parents to provide transportation for the students participating in the provincial finals.” Please note that students may enter the competition in the following categories: Early French Immersion – Grades 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 Late French Immersion – Grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 We will be awarding a cash prize to the first, second and third place winners. The first place winners in grade 12 Early and Late French Immersion and grades 11 and 12 Core French will be offered a four year scholarship from the Université de Moncton. The first place winners in grade 12 will also be awarded an all expense paid trip to Ottawa to compete in the CPF National Concours d’art oratoire. The first place winners in Grade 12 attended the National Concours which was held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario.
