CPF Kennebecasis Valley Chapter 2010 This summer, the CPF KV Chapter will be holding their French Day Camp program for it's 10th year! The camp will consist from Grades 1 to 5 (both Core French and Early Immersion programs). Children will experience a fun-filled summer, while using their French. Each year, counsellors incorporate a variety of theme days and activities, such as: arts & crafts, games, sports, excursions, science experiments, and much more.
Also, in late August, daily 45 minute tutoring sessions are offered at the Kennebecasis Valley Library. The tutor week includes 3 counsellors working simultaneously with children at various French levels. Each child’s reading level will be established prior to attendance. The tutors will help children review sounds (especially vowels & combinations), read levelled books, vocabulary review, and play vocabulary games.
